Currently it is necessary to click on "Latest discussions" on main page to access page that allows creation of topic. It is rather poor navigation to hide "add new topic" on page advertised as "Latest discussions". Additionally this additional click necessary to create new thread is a bit irritating. As there is available vertical space maybe adding "new topic" to main page may be a good idea?
