Lifestealer is an artifact weapon that appears in SporkHack and EvilHack. Its base item is a two-handed sword, and it is chaotic-aligned. Lifestealer is most often associated with Vlad the Impaler.
Generation
Vlad is guaranteed to be generated with the weapon when encountered at the top of his tower in Gehennom; if the item already exists in that game, however (e.g. in bones), it will be replaced with a regular two-handed sword.
Effects
As the name implies, it drains life and levels from monsters it hits, similar to Stormbringer; when wielded, it additionally confers drain resistance.
Strategy
Due to its method of generation, it does not count against the player in terms of wishing for other artifacts.
