Orcish ring mail is a form of body armor. When unidentified, it is crude ring mail. Unlike regular ring mail, it provides MC1, but its AC bonus is one less. It is the starting armor for an orc barbarian
This is a low-quality item, providing only two points protection in spite of being fairly heavy, and most players do not bother with it.
