A rubber hose is a weapon that appears in Nethack. However, it is never randomly generated, and is only seen carried by Keystone Kops.

While the rubber hose uses the whip skill, unlike the bullwhip, it can not be applied for special effects. However, it does slightly more damage, and does normal damage to thick-skinned monsters; even so, it is not particularly useful as a weapon, and will mostly be considered polyfodder if not outright junk.
