Add something about the fact that people unskilled with daggers can cut the puddings and they will split in two at a chance of 1/5. Happened to me.--Vanzant Elbereth 00:53, 3 December 2007 (UTC)

Vegetarians beware!

Could someone please add that their corpses are not vegetarian? I lost my last vegetarian game that way.

Thanks! --Nightpenguin 13:59, 10 May 2011 (UTC)

Good idea, I've done it.
In the future, just be bold. Make the wiki great. --Tjr 11:45, 11 May 2011 (UTC)

To much damage >.>

As far as farming black puddings, I am having a difficult time. Long story short..... I found a tinning kit. Blessed it. Tinned ALOT of giant. Ate them. I now have strength 18/**. I tried using a orc dagger. I am doing to much damage to farm effectivly. I tried to use a cursed scroll of charging on a ring of increased damage. Anywho, it melted or something.

ANY ideas to decrease damage to farm them?— Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.123.205.9 (talkcontribs)

Use a -3 orcish dagger. A -3 orcish dagger will always do 1 damage and will not factor in strength bonuses. You can easily get an orcish dagger to -3 by engraving "x" until it is too dull - at this point it is -3. Make sure it isn't cursed before wielding a random dagger. -- Qazmlpok 21:54, 31 March 2012 (UTC)

It worked, thankyou bunches =]

Pets polymorphed as puddings

I'm going to add in a section on each of the pudding pages, and check to see if this little gem exists on the polymorph trap page...

I just polytrapped my doggy into a pudding, and thought... what if.

So (being a brown pudding and not having a Puddingbane handy) I whacked my little buddy with my iron helm.

Lo and behold, I ended up with two tame (albeit probably less tame) brown puddings called Felix. It may be completely plausible to pudding farm pets for polytrapping!

All this because I've been here for 30 minutes because my invisible, artifact wielding pet titan (who WAS my doggy) ate a doppelganger and became a newt.
