Role | Comments |
---|---|
Archaeologist | Trying to use the bullwhip can quicky lead to trouble. |
Barbarian | A powerful melee fighter. Limited skills in ranged attacks |
Caveman | A powerful melee fighter. Can become skilled with bows, and expert with a sling |
Healer | A healer would be best attempting to avoid combat all together, relying on pets |
Knight | Good starting armour helps in the early game. |
Monk | The ideal choice due to martial arts and special bonuses |
Priest | Not a great melee fighter, nor has great ranged attacks. Has some indirect spell options. |
Ranger | Excellent ranged fighter. Infravision will help prevent monsters sneaking up on you. |
Rogue | Can throw daggers as well as any role. Backstab damage a bonus |
Samurai | Has martial arts skill. Has a good ranged weapon. Begins with good armour. |
Tourist | Expensive camera helps the tourist avoid combat |
Wizard | Many attack spell options. A normal wizard will use ranged attacks. |
