There have been several NetHack tournaments.

Ongoing (as of March 2024):

• Junethack - annual tournament in June, featuring NetHack variants
• The November NetHack Tournament - annual tournament in November, focused on the vanilla game

Gone:

• /dev/null/nethack tournament - annual tournament in November from 1999 to 2016; tribute tournament in November 2017
• 2006 nethack.alt.org tournament, 2007 June nethack.alt.org tournament - conducted on NAO
• The NetHack Challenge - a NetHack bot competition based on the NetHack Learning Environment
