The furthest I've reached was Vlad's level. Shot myself with a death ray. (was naked trying to use a nurse a few levels up, zapped a troll with the wand because I was obviously vulnerable.) It bounced in an unforseen way and hit me minus my Magicbane, Shield of Reflection and Cloak of Magic Resistance. Dead.

This site is great!! I've been digesting so much information, I've been able in many cases to redistribute some as new pages- not always remembering to log on. Elsewhere I've used wizard mode to try things out.

As a break I play random orcs. I wrote the orc (starting race) page; improvements to it are welcome.

On this site I'd most like to see pages or notes for all race/role combinations. I would be pleasantly astounded to see a item comparison tool for weighing up items found- especially armour. I think this is underway.

In Nethack I'd like to see some skills carry-over. By this I mean when improving my dagger skill to Expert, maybe my Knife skill could become equivalent to Skilled etc.

Also in real life it takes some skill to use a shield.

Some banes-incentive would be cool too. Maybe enchantment can be foo-kills generated and capped to +8 or more. or special banes-levels.

Are you sure you want to break your wand of digging? y/n (n)

I, PeterGFin am a Human Priest. I just emerged from a Caveman phase. My sentimentally preferred weapons are the Spear and Bow. My sentimentally preferred Polyform is the Steam Vortex.

I have never held the Amulet of Yendor. I have owned Nethack for around 5 months.

Some banes-incentive would be cool too. Maybe enchantment can be foo-kills generated and capped to +8 or more. or special banes-levels.
