Weapon-tool

A weapon-tool is a tool that is especially useful as a weapon. Weapon-tools can be enchanted under the same rules as regular weapons, will weld to the hands if cursed, and have weapon skills.
A tool is defined as a weapon-tool if it has a weapon skill.[1]
Weapon-tools in vanilla NetHack are:
