An eyeball is a type of meaty comestible that appears in SLASH'EM and SlashTHEM.
The eyeball is the base item for an artifact, The Eye of the Beholder.

Generation
Eyeballs are not randomly generated, though they can be wished for or found in bones containing the Eye of the Beholder.
Description
Eating an eyeball grants 10 nutrition, and attempting to eat one so will produce a warning prompt asking the player if they are sure they want to, a trait shared with the severed hand.[1]
Strategy
Regular eyeballs are not of much use as food due to their minimal nutrition, though eating them does not inflict severe damage as ingesting the artifact eyeballs would (despite the warning prompt still occurring when you do so).[1] Their rarity may make them enticing keepsakes for certain players.
