Damage type vs. monster flag

I think it might be worth distinguishing between "is acidic" and "uses acid attacks" for purposes of this article (including splitting if need be). Any input on that? --Umbire the Phantom (talk) 10:02, 27 June 2024 (UTC)

Speaking generally, distinguishing is good. Each attack type uses a different code path, so a passive AD_ACID can behave a lot different than an active AD_ACID, and they are different from a potion of acid (quaffed or thrown). Furey (talk) 10:52, 27 June 2024 (UTC)
