Localization Strategy
Hey guys, a section on localization strategy might be nice, and might be useful to someone toying with the idea of translating NetHack into a new language. I know mine (NetzHack's) is different from Patric's (you insert an additional layer of abstraction for output string constants, if I read your code correctly), which I guess is probably different from Ray's, etc. How about if each of us writes a paragraph or two about our approach? — Netzhack (talk) 13:38, 4 February 2013 (UTC)

- I think that "Current NetHack localization strategies" section should be moved to top as general and more interesting than list of projects. Article is very interesting (I know nothing about translating programs and almost nothing about grammar and I like to learn something interesting) Bulwersator (talk) 05:15, 23 April 2013 (UTC)

- IMHO someone looking at an article named "NetHack in other languages" will most likely be looking for translations, so a list of projects should probably be first. The section about localization strategies is definitely interesting, though. Perhaps the list of projects should be demoted to subsections in a section about complete and active translations. —bcode talk | mail 21:42, 23 April 2013 (UTC)
