Undead; silver?

Should more be added (re vampire lords, etc) about possible disadvantages of an undead form (especially for lawful alignment) and problems with silver (handling weapons, most obviously; how often would opponents have silver weapons?)? -Actual-nh (talk) 17:43, 14 January 2021 (UTC)

Possibly, if you want. Worth noting that silver weapons are fairly uncommon at least, and polymorphed players tend to have ranged options anyway in the event melee isn't an advisable option (see: mind flayers and footrices/acidic jellies). --Umbire the Phantom (talk) 23:30, 14 January 2021 (UTC)

It's not just silver weapons that can cause problems, FWIW. You can be screwed over pretty badly if your ring of polymorph control happens randomly to be a silver ring! I'll add a note about silver to the page. Infinigon (talk) 00:50, 15 January 2021 (UTC)

OK, I just edited the page, before realising this page seems to have two separate sections talking about self-polymorph strategy. There's a bunch of duplicated advice. Will make a note to try to clean this up at some point later. Infinigon (talk) 00:58, 15 January 2021 (UTC)
