GEMA?

I deleted GEMA. It's an obscure macro processor of the same ilk as m4. Never heard of anyone using it. If you can find anyone using it on NetHack source, a citation would be nice. Furey (talk) 05:26, 30 June 2024 (UTC)

Well, looks like the second guy to edit this page used it (he added it along with the other more recognizable tools), back in 2006, aka the Wikia days. I suppose GEMA was a little more relevant then; amazingly, checking out its SourceForge page, it looks like it is still in semi-active development, with version 2.0 being released this past March. I'm reminded a bit of this xkcd, except this particular project is just a little pillar standing on its own. Get enough such projects together and they'd (appropriately) resemble a graveyard.
