A rod is a type of weapon that appears in EvilHack and Hack'EM. It is one-handed and uses the mace skill. It has a base object material of gemstone, and appears as an "ornate mace" when unidentified.
The Wand of Orcus is an artifact rod, and The Sceptre of Might has its base item changed to a rod in both variants.
Generation
Rods are not randomly generated. Asmodeus and Dispater are generated with a rod in hand.
A rod can be created at a forge by combining 2 rubies and a mace.
