Blessing is a technique that appears in SLASH'EM, SpliceHack, SlashTHEM, and Hack'EM.

All Priests start the game with knowledge of this technique. In SpliceHack, you can also learn this technique with any role by donating more than 900 times your current experience level to an aligned priest.

Description

When used, you can select one item or stack of items in order to bless as though you dipped the item in holy water: cursed objects become uncursed, and uncursed objects become blessed. The technique is reusable after a cooldown of 500-1000 turns, with the cooldown lowered further by 10 turns for each experience level you currently have.

Notably in SLASH'EM, using this technique does not violate atheist conduct.

Strategy

Blessing can be seriously abused with limit mode mechanics, allowing you to bless all the items you want while your HP is at 110 of your maximum or less. As long as you have a safe place to do this, a Priest has no need at all for holy water.
