A cockatoo is a new domestic monster in SLASH'EM. It can be tamed with vegan food. It does not make a terribly good pet, however, being much like a kitten or little dog, but with no prospect of growing up.
Note that it cannot fly, strangely enough. Do not displace it into water or lava!
