A rabbit is a rodent in SLASH'EM. It can be tamed with cheese, a food introduced in SLASH'EM. A more powerful variant also exists, the rabid rabbit.
Strategy
Probably the first 'new' monster one will encounter in SLASH'EM, the rabbit is functionally almost equivalent to the fox. It has the same attacks, level and speed, making it somewhat dangerous to starting characters, mostly due to the speed. Note that its corpse is much lighter and less filling than that of the fox, however.
