An umbral hulk, U, is a type of monster that appears in SpliceHack, SlashTHEM and Hack'EM. It is a darker counterpart to the umber hulk and shares the same bite and claw attacks, and its gaze can blind targets instead of confusing them.

Umber hulks are powerful subterranean predators whose
iron-like claws allow them to burrow through solid stone in
search of prey. They are tremendously strong; muscles bulge
beneath their thick, scaly hides and their powerful arms and
