Vomiting
Vomiting is a status affliction caused by eating
- tripe as a non-orc non-carnivore
- old eggs
- rotten tins
- eating a clove of garlic, while polymorphed into an undead monster
After a while, it will cause you to become confused, then stunned, and finally pass out and lose 50 points of nutrition. The final act of vomiting actually cures food poisoning, though you cannot count on vomiting before you die.
A few uses of a unicorn horn, casting cure sickness,[1] or a eucalyptus leaf will cure the condition (and let you keep the nutrition).
