Generation
Baseball bats are not randomly generated, though they can be wished for or found in bones. Junk shops can stock baseball bats, where they have a 1⁄10 chance (10%) of generating on each available square.
A club can be combined with a rubber hose at a furnace to create a baseball bat.
Description
Baseball bats deal 1d6 blunt damage versus all monsters, and have a +2 to-hit bonus. While wielded, they also grant a +1 bonus to AC.
Encyclopedia entry
The sneer is gone from Casey's lip, his teeth are clenched in hate,
He pounds with cruel violence his bat upon the plate;
And now the pitcher holds the ball, and now he lets it go,
And now the air is shattered by the force of Casey's blow.
