A chiropteran mummy, M, is a type of monster that appears in dNetHack, notdNetHack, and notnotdNetHack. It is a mummified undead chiropteran that is the only non-humanoid mummy in the monster class and retains the tendency to wander, but otherwise has many of the same traits as them, including infravision, .
A chiropteran mummy has four strong claw attacks, as well as a passive attack that inflicts mummy curses on their killer upon death. Chiropteran mummies possess cold resistance, sleep resistance, poison resistance, drain resistance, and death resistance like other mummies.
A chiropteran mummy corpse is poisonous to eat unless it is consumed with the spirit Ahazu bound.
