A dark elven tunic is a type of body armor that appears in EvilHack. It is made of spider silk, and appears as a spider silk tunic when unidentified.
Generation
Drow characters start the game with knowledge of the dark elven tunic. Drow Infidels and Rogues start the game with a dark elven tunic.
Drow mercenaries have a 4⁄15 chance of generating with a dark elven tunic that counts for 6 points of their target generation AC, with a 4⁄5 fallback chance of a dark elven tunic that counts for 3 of their target AC - otherwise, they receive a guaranteed dark elven tunic that counts for 2 of their target AC.
Drow clerics have a 2⁄3 chance of generating with a dark elven tunic, driders have a 5⁄18 chance of generating with a dark elven tunic, and other non-undead drow have a 2⁄5 chance of generating with a dark elven tunic, with the exception of drow mages.
Description
While worn, a dark elven tunic grants 3 base AC and MC2. Drow gain a bonus point of AC while wearing dark elven tunics, and can safely enchant them to +7.
