A hound of Tindalos, d, is a type of monster that appears in dNetHack, notdNetHack and notnotdNetHack. The hound of Tindalos is an insight monster that is a carnivorous and primordial canine animal: hounds of Tindalos are unbreathing and amphibious, can be seen via infravision, and are capable of tracking the hero and detecting other creatures via normal sight and scent. Hounds of Tindalos have 8 points of natural AC and 3 points of 'special' DR. Seeing a hound of Tindalos can lower the hero's sanity and raise their insight. Tame hounds of Tindalos may turn traitor.
