- This article is about the artifact in dNetHack and its derivatives. For the Convict patch artifact and other versions, see Luckblade.
Luck Blade is an artifact weapon that appears in dNetHack, notdNetHack and notnotdNetHack as part of the integrated Convict Role patch. It is chaotic-aligned, and its base item is a short sword.
Generation
Luck Blade is the first guaranteed sacrifice gift for Convicts, and other chaotic heroes may receive Luck Blade as a sacrifice gift.
Description
Luck Blade has +1d7 to-hit, deals +1d7 damage versus all monsters and uses luck-biased damage dice, i.e. damage rolls are performed using the rnl function instead of the rnd function. While carried, it functions as a luckstone of the same beatitude.
