The ogre is a playable race that appears in GruntHack and SlashTHEM.
SlashTHEM
All ogres starts with an additional club (unless a Convict), and their skill in it is raised to at least Skilled. They are always chaotic and can be a Barbarian, Convict, Gladiator, Lunatic or Undead Slayer.
Humans, dwarves, elves, gnomes, and hobbits are always generated hostile towards ogre characters.

Techniques
Ogres start out with primal roar, and they get berserk at XL 10.
Strategy
Eating ogre corpses and tins does not incur cannibalism penalties.
