Presence of Shub-Nugganoth

The Presence of Shub-Nugganoth is a property that occurs in dNetHack, notdNetHack, and notnotdNetHack. It upgrades explosive spells cast by the player character.

This property is conferred intrinsically by The Black Mother.

Description

This property changes the description of fire storm, blizzard, lightning storm, and acid splash spells and causes them to deal half damage to resistant targets, rather than no damage. It further causes acid splash to deal over twice as much damage as normal.

Enemies slain by these spells will be sacrificed to the Mother.
