A spiked chain is a type of two-handed weapon that appears in SpliceHack and Hack'EM.
These variants also add an artifact spiked chain, the Chains of Malcanthet. It is unaligned, confers warning when wielded, targets angels, and can paralyze it's targets.
Generation
Spiked chains are rare.
Strategy
Can be used in melee and applied like a polearm with equal effectiveness. Arguably the most useful non-artifact weapon in SpliceHack or Hack'EM.
In SpliceHack it is possible to forge a spiked chain by one of these recipes:
- IRON_CHAIN + DAGGER
- IRON_CHAIN + KNIFE
In Hack'EM it is possible to create one by #crafting an iron chain and a shuriken together.
History
The spiked chain first appears in SpliceHack.
