Energy vortex
This page claims that the engulf power drain attack of an energy vortex is prevented by MC, but the energy vortex page claims that the engulf power drain attack doesn't work at all because it's not implemented. Bejonas (talk) 12:54, 9 August 2012 (UTC)
- Well the two aren't actually contradictory, but the fact the attack doesn't work at all should be mentioned here. -Ion frigate (talk) 17:52, 9 August 2012 (UTC)
- On second thought, I just removed the mention. Anyone who can provide a source reference that that attack is prevented by MC is welcome to put it back in. I think people figured the attack was being prevented by MC, when in fact it wasn't working at all. -Ion frigate (talk) 17:57, 9 August 2012 (UTC)
Merge
Would it be feasible to combine this page with its 3.4.3 version and have the latter as a subsection? It might go smoother if we use a comparative table to illustrate the changes from 3.4.3 to 3.6.0, especially due to the amount of 3.4.3-based variants. --Umbire the Phantom (talk) 06:15, 12 January 2020 (UTC)
- I think this page is better off with Magic Cancellation (3.4.3) and Magic Cancellation. When 3.7.0 is released, we clone Magic Cancellation to Magic Cancellation (3.6.7) and then make all the 3.7.X changes on Magic Cancellation. I think this strategy will prevent inadvertant damage to the Magic Cancellation (3.4.3) article. Furey (talk)
- This was 4 years old, but yeah, I've since come to a similar conclusion regarding the merge - as to this new query, I can't think of any immediate 3.7 MC changes off the top of my head, but that's probably a good approach to take as well. --Umbire the Phantom (talk) 07:56, 9 July 2024 (UTC)
