Angelslayer is an artifact weapon that appears in EvilHack and Hack'EM. It is unaligned, and its base item is a trident made of iron.
Generation
In addition to random generation, Angelslayer can appear as a sacrifice gift for characters of all alignments.
A balrog has a 1⁄20 chance of generating with Angelslayer.
Description
While wielded, Angelslayer confers automatic searching and half spell damage, and warns the wielder of any angelic beings. Angelslayer deals an extra 1d10 in bonus damage to non-fire-resistant monsters, and half that to fire-resistant ones. Demons are completely immune to this bonus. Additionally, Angelslayer has a 1⁄10 chance of instantly killing any angelic being it hits.
Angelslayer can be combined with either The Eye of Vecna or The Hand of Vecna at a forge to create The Sword of Annihilation.
