Demihuman

The demihuman is a monster attribute that appears in dNetHack and notdNetHack. It is defined by the MA_DEMIHUMAN in monst.c.

Description

A monster is defined as demihuman if they have any vaguely human features and/or ancestry.

Werebane is an artifact that warns its user of demihumans while wielded.

List of demihumans

Demihumans consist of the following monsters:

• all C except sprow
• gnoll matriarchs, warrior changed, lurking ones, and Lugribossk
• alhoons
• all N
• elder brains
• gnoll ghouls
• manticores
• deep, deeper, and deepest ones, mind flayers, master mind flayers, edderkops, gnolls, anubites, and githyanki pirates
• Medusa
• Maanzecorian
