Amnesia is an effect that causes you to forget known spells, level maps, and even the identities of items. It can be caused by the following:
- A scroll of amnesia.
- A mind flayer's brain-sucking attack.
The following information pertains to an upcoming version (NetHack 3.7.0). If this version is now released, please verify that it is still accurate, then update the page to incorporate this information.
