Dragon Caves

The Dragon Caves are a new branch in UnNetHack, brought over from NetHack brass R/S.

The Dragon caves can be entered though a downstairs somewhere in Gehennom or through a magic portal in the Valley of the Dead. Each level contains many dragons, as well as some long worms and purple worms. Trees and muddy swamps are found throughout their levels.

At the bottom of The Dragon Caves will be three chromatic dragons that reside over a small stash of amulets and rings; this is the only location in the game where they are generated. Their scales can be converted into a valuable armor that grants almost all resistances available from dragon scale mails in UnNetHack, including petrification resistance; the only resistance they don't give is magic resistance.
