Geyser is a monster spell in NetHack that is used by the strongest clerical spell casters.

Description

Geyser can be used by any monster that can cast clerical spells and is at least level 14.[1] When cast, the spell causes a geyser to slam into the player character for 8d6 damage, which is halved rounded up if they possess half physical damage.[2] Monsters at level 15 or higher have a lower chance of casting the spell, and may use open wounds instead.[3]

The following information pertains to an upcoming version (3.7.0). If this version is now released, please verify that it is still accurate, then update the page to incorporate this information.

In commit 6b8079a1, the groundwork is laid for the geyser spell to potentially cause water damage to items in the inventory and on your square.
