Githyanki pirates are monsters added in the Pirate patch, incorporated into dNetHack, Slash'EM Extended, and SLASHTHEM. They may be randomly generated in the Elemental Planes and Astral Plane (in place of skeletal pirates and damned pirates) if the player is carrying the Treasury of Proteus.

Githyanki pirates are generated with a two-handed sword, bronze plate mail, leather gloves, and high boots.

Origin

Githyanki are humanoids from Dungeons & Dragons. Bred from human slaves by the illithids (mind flayers), they later revolted and established their own society on the Astral Plane.
