This article is about the monster in dNetHack and notdNetHack. For the monster in NetHack and its female counterpart in other variants, see gnome king.

A gnome queen, G, is a type of monster that appears in dNetHack and notdNetHack. Gnome queens are female counterparts to gnome kings that have somewhat distinct traits: they possess much weaker physical attacks, but have the ability to twoweapon.

Generation

Gnome queens are not randomly generated. A gnome lady can grow up into a gnome queen.

A gnome queen may appear as the ruler of a randomly-generated throne room - her court can contain gnome lords, gnome ladies, gnomes, gnomish wizards, tinker gnomes, dwarves, dwarf lords, dwarf clerics, hobbits, leprechauns, and homunculi.
