A gnome lady, G, is a type of monster that appears in dNetHack, notdNetHack and notnotdNetHack. Gnome ladies are female counterparts to gnome lords that have somewhat distinct traits: they possess much lower damage output and lack prowess in martial combat, but have the ability to twoweapon.

A gnome lady has a weapon attack and an offhand weapon attack.

Generation

Randomly-generated gnome ladies are usually peaceful towards gnomish and dwarven heroes. Gnome ladies are not a valid polymorph form. Female gnomes can grow up into gnome ladies, and gnome ladies can grow up into gnome queens.

Gnome ladies may appear in the court of a throne room ruled by a gnome king, gnome queen, dwarf king, or dwarf queen: each monster in the court of a gnome king or queen has a ¹⁄₂₀ chance of being a gnome lady, while each monster in the court of a dwarf king or queen has a ³⁄₁₀₀ chance of being a gnome lady. Gnome ladies may also appear as prisoners in randomly-generated throne rooms, as well as throne rooms ruled by kobold lords, orc-captains, Uruk-captains, and the Necromancer (where they have twice the odds of appearing).

Gnome ladies can appear among the zombified monsters generated in the future, i.e. the Anachrononaut quest and Android quest.
