A hellrat, r, is a type of monster that appears in SLASH'EM, SlashTHEM, SpliceHack, and Hack'EM. It is a tiny carnivorous animal that can be seen via infravision like other rodents.
A hellrat has a single bite attack that inflicts fire damage, and possesses fire resistance.
Generation
Hellrats are only generated in Gehennom, and can appear in large groups. They are always generated hostile.
A hellrat does not leave a corpse upon death.
Strategy
Despite their numbers, hellrats present no threat to any character capable of reaching Gehennom.
