Mineral is the material of rocks, stones and boulders. By definition it can be surmised that the dungeon in general is comprised of mineral.
Mineral cannot be eaten, resists any form of corrosion or rust and does not burn. All tangible mineral items can be converted to dead meat or living flesh using the stone to flesh spell.
