Some templates are derived from templates on other wikis:

There is space in these templates for the Wikipedia logo. Once we have an template tag for fair use images, someone can upload a Wikipedia logo and use it in these templates.

Wikibooks:Template:fairuse is the basis for Template:fairuse, which in turn provides the table style for the other templates.

All images should have a template indicating copyright. Screenshots of NetHack use {{NGPL}}. Some images can use {{fairuse}}, but this should mostly be avoided. Articles that annotate the NetHack source code use {{NGPL}} while also quoting the copyright from the source.

In most cases, simply making a quote ("The newt bites! You die...") or giving game statistics (like when using {{monster}}) does not require a template.
