Wax golem is a new kind of golem added in SLASH'EM and UnNetHack. They have a fire attack that can destroy your potions and scroll but other than that they are not a huge threat, what make this golem special is that they drop wax candles when destroyed. This makes them potentially valuable as a non-conduct-violating source of candles in those games where Izchak's lighting store doesn't have enough.
