A ruffled shirt is a type of shirt that appears in the Noble patch, which is incorporated into SlashTHEM—the item is also imported to Hack'EM, where it is almost completely unmodified from SlashTHEM. It is made of cloth, and in Hack'EM it can also occur with other materials.
Generation
Ruffled shirts are not randomly generated normally in the base Noble patch, though they can be wished for or found in bones. In SlashTHEM and Hack'EM, the ruffled shirt is rare and makes up 1⁄500 (0.2%) of all armor that is randomly generated on the ground, in general shops or as death drops, and used armor dealerships and antique weapon outlets can also stock ruffled shirts.
Noblemen in SlashTHEM start each game with a +0 ruffled shirt, while Noblewomen instead start with Victorian underwear.
Similarly, player monster noblemen in SlashTHEM are always generated with ruffled shirts.
Description
While worn, a ruffled shirt grants 0 base AC and takes 2 actions to wear or take off. A hero wearing a ruffled shirt gains a +1 bonus to charisma.
