Tempest is an artifact weapon that appears in EvilHack. It is unaligned, and its base item is a halberd.
Generation
Tempest can only be created by combining Mjollnir and Cleaver at a forge - it cannot be wished for, and will revert to its base item if left in a bones file.
Description
Tempest has +1d10 to-hit and deals +1d24 damage to monsters without shock resistance, causing lightning to strike them - when pounding with Tempest, attacking in melee while riding or attacking in melee as a centaur, there is also a 1⁄5 chance of creating a 3x3 explosion of lightning centered on the target monster. While wielded, Tempest confers shock resistance and stun resistance, and protects items in the wielder's inventory from shock damage.
