在NetHack中，恢复能力魔法书（spellbook of restore ability）是教授恢复能力（restore ability）法术的魔法书。恢复能力属于救急法术，也是僧侣职业的特殊法术。

描述
施放恢复能力法术会使得玩家失去的属性值恢复，法术的具体效果与玩家的治愈法术技能等级有关[2]：
法术提供的属性值恢复无视玩家持有的维持能力特质[6]。因过度饥饿进入虚弱状态时暂时损失的力量，以及因变形为自身种族导致的属性值随机变化，均不算作属性值损失，不会受法术影响。
策略
恢复能力法术有一定的实用性，但它的功能基本被独角兽的角和恢复能力药水完全覆盖了，再加上法术等级较高，对施法能力有一定要求，因此在大多数游戏流程中玩家都不太可能用到它。不过，玩家仍然可以将恢复能力法术作为无法正常使用独角兽的角来恢复（例如被怪物的诅咒物品法术诅咒）时的后备手段。

Variants of NetHack based on NetHack 3.4.3 and earlier versions will often change the spell of restore ability and/or lower the level of the spellbook to make it more useful. Several variants also limit or remove the unicorn horn's ability to restore lost attribute points, which also has the benefit of making the spell somewhat more useful for this purpose.

In ZAPM, the closest equivalent to the spell of restore ability from NetHack is the "restoration" mutant power.
dNetHack
In dNetHack, the Monk's crowning gift is changed from the spellbook of restore ability to the Grandmaster's Robe.
notdNetHack
In notdNetHack and notnotdNetHack, in addition to dNetHack details, restore ability is the special spell of the ent race.
EvilHack
In EvilHack, the spellbook of restore ability has its level lowered to level 2: this makes the spell much easier to cast, and allows Priests and Wizards to potentially start with the spellbook and knowledge of the spell. The spell of restore ability is made directional, and can be cast at another monster to cure cancellation. This information also applies to Hack'EM.
