A rabid rabbit, r, is a type of monster that appears in SLASH'EM, SlashTHEM and Hack'EM. It is a a faster and more dangerous variant of the rabbit that has a poisonous, constitution-draining bite similar to the rabid rat; in SlashTHEM, it also has poison resistance.

Strategy
The rabid rabbit's high movement speed and poisonous bite make them a very dangerous early encounter in all variants, and should be brought down as quickly as possible with any means of ranged attack available.
With the exception of SlashTHEM, rabid rabbits do not have poison resistance like most monsters with poisonous attacks, providing further options for disposing of one: SLASH'EM and its variants allows edged weapons to be poisoned (e.g. with a potion of sickness or a toilet). In SLASH'EM and SlashTHEM, you can also tame one using a thrown carrot - tamed rabid rabbits can help with other early-game threats, and at minimum you will have one less threat of instant death to fear.
