Dark elven chain mail is a type of body armor that appears in EvilHack. It is made of adamantine.
Generation
Drow characters start the game with knowledge of dark elven chain mail. Drow Knights start with dark elven chain mail in place of the role's standard plate mail.
Drow mercenaries have a 8⁄15 chance of generating with a dark elven tunic that counts for 6 points of their target generation AC. Driders have a 1⁄18 chance of generating with dark elven chain mail, and other non-undead drow have a 2⁄5 chance of generating with a dark elven chain mail, with the exception of drow mages and drow clerics.
Dark elven chain mail can be created at a forge by combining a dark elven heavy mace and dark elven bracers while the forge is darkened.
Description
While worn, dark elven chain mail grants 6 base AC and MC2. Drow gain a bonus point of AC while wearing dark elven chain mail, and can safely enchant them to +7.
