Armored boots

Armored boots are a pair of boots that appear in dNetHack and notdNetHack. They have a base material of iron, and appear simply as "boots" when unidentified.

Generation

Armored boots are not randomly generated, though they can be wished for or found in bones.

Several monsters generate with armored boots:

Vlad the Impaler generates with armored boots.
King Arthur generates with blessed +3 armored boots.
Deepest ones generated in the Anachrononaut quest and Android quest are created with huge gold +5 armored boots.

Shiro generates with uncursed mineral armored boots when summoned by an Illithanachronounbinder.

While worn, armored boots confer 2 base AC, 2 DR and MC1.
