An igniter, @, is a Flame mage quest guardian in SLASH'EM, SlashTHEM, and Hack'EM. They are identical to frosters, the Ice mage quest guardians. Strangely, they lack fire resistance, but possess poison resistance.

Eating an igniter's corpse or tin has a 13 chance of conveying poison resistance, though killing one solely to do so is a Bad Idea.
