A selkie, n, is a type of monster that appears in dNetHack and notdNetHack. Selkies are strong nymphs that can be seen via infravision - a selkie can shapeshift into the form of a seal, d, and will seek out magical items and other objects to collect.
A selkie has a single weapon attack and a seduction attack that can steal items. In seal form, they have a strong bite attack.
Generation
Selkies are only generated in the Mithardir Quest, where they can appear as special type of shopkeeper .that sells adventuring equipment.
