Allows you to learn the cancellation spell. When cast, it creates a beam which cancels monsters and objects which it hits. Monsters are entitled to a resistance check against the effect.
Effects
Cancellation basically nullifies the magical effects of anything it hits. This spell is most commonly used to change (most) potions into water, scrolls into blank scrolls, and spellbooks into spellbook of blank paper. It can be used to uncurse or unbless items in your inventory by putting your items in a container and then zapping cancellation at yourself, clearing out your inventory (in this manner it supersedes remove curse).
It does have an extremely high magic cost, however, and is very difficult to learn. In terms of offensive power, the spell can cancel and monsters it hits, removing their special abilities; however, given that the spell of death costs the same in terms of magic, it's better to simply kill them outright if you're willing to use so much power.
